Amazingly, our headline above does not refer to the Leighton Meester sex tape, but to an entirely different kind of video involving the Gossip Girl actress.

Leighton has teamed up with the band Cobra Starship on its new single, “Good Girls Go Bad,” starring in the music video and singing one of the verses.

“Good Girls Go Bad” is the first single from Cobra Starship’s new album Hot Mess. The song was co-written by Kevin Rudolf and American Idol‘s Kara DioGuardi.

An aspiring singer who’s working on her debut album, the Gossip Girl star holds her own on what may very well become one of the summer’s hit songs.
